It has long been known that cinnamon is useful in combating age-related diabetes. A teaspoon or so a day has been shown to be effective in controling type-2 diabetes. If you are having a problem with your blood sugar and it seems to be related to type-2 diabetes, give some cinnamon a try. It can be pretty burny on your tongue and in your mouth if you take a teaspoon full of the really good stuff. I add it to many foods, especially breakfast foods such as toast, cereal, or other acceptable (to you) foods. Of course, I've enjoyed cinnamon since I was old enough to reach for what I wanted on the table. If type-2 diabetes shows up in my body I'm ready with the cinnamon.
